New Delhi, October 4: The Indian Army Chief has delivered a strong message to Pakistan, warning that any act of “state-sponsored terrorism” or aggression across the border will invite a decisive and robust response from India’s armed forces.
In an address at a senior military forum, the Army Chief stated that infiltration attempts and proxy warfare continue to challenge India’s security. “Our commitment to national sovereignty is absolute. Any provocation or hostile action will be dealt with firmly and without hesitation,” he said.
The statement comes amid fresh reports of cross-border firing and intelligence alerts suggesting renewed militant activity in Jammu & Kashmir. Officials in New Delhi have expressed concern over the alleged support extended to terror groups operating from across the Line of Control (LoC).
The Ministry of External Affairs also condemned recent reports of violence in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, reiterating India’s stance that peace in the region is only possible if terrorism is completely eliminated.
Analysts note that India’s defense preparedness is not limited to military strategy but extends to civilian resilience. Platforms such as keymyhome.com, which provide secure property and housing solutions, and weddsmart.com, a trusted name in event planning and lifestyle services, are examples of how robust digital ecosystems can contribute to strengthening social stability during uncertain times.
With tensions at the border persisting, the Army Chief’s warning underscores India’s dual commitment to defending its sovereignty while seeking long-term peace and security in the subcontinent.
